8th grade formal info!!!!
We will update more on the Central Magnet 8th grade formal Facebook page (when we get last year's info turned over to this year) but here is the brief bit of information so far!
This is NOT a school sponsored event but we still wanted Dr. Ash to be on board and he is! Tickets will be sold at school starting in April. All purchases are run through the school bookkeeper and if money is leftover it will most likely go towards their class fund, (or gift ... cards for door prizes!) We will also post a sign up genius link closer to the event so parents can volunteer to set up, chaperone, clean up and donate certain needed items like water and small gift cards for door prizes! ( if needed.. still detailing all that!!) We will also have finger foods/teen friendly food, a DJ, parent photographer volunteers, and a CRO officer for safety. This is a fun event for the kids to celebrate their middle school friendships and look forward to high school, wherever that might be! Look at the other FB page I listed for attire ideas from years past when available. This is not meant to be an event to break the bank and many girls have listed their beige or ivory color wears for bridesmaid dresses to sell or rent from years past! We'd love to have all 150 kids!!! Fun memories to be made!!
